The year is 1994, and you are sitting in science class while Mr. Smith assigns a research report to the class over famous men and women in STEM. Looking at the list none look familiar so you chose Robert Kahn knowing little to nothing about who this man is. After traveling to the local library in town and finding little to no valuable information about Mr. Kahn. Searching for hours through many books and eventually asking your parents about Robert Kahn you are able to put together a less than acceptable report on the technology genius. Twenty years later the now older Mr. Smith assigns the same research report to his science class and at the top of the list is the name, Robert Kahn. A student picks the man they know nothing about once again. Then from the luxury of their home within fifteen minutes the student knows everything, there is to know about the successful Robert Kahn. How might one ask? Simply because Robert Kahn and many other scientists responsible for the invention of the internet had a vision.
