The Protection Of Honor Whoso judges not according to what Allah has sent down, they are the persons who are infidels. Human Rights In Islam The Security Of Life And Property. In the letter, which the Holy Prophet received on the occurrence of the Farewell Hajj, he said: "Your lives and properties are forbidden to one another till you meet your god on the Resurrection." The Prophet (Peace be upon HIM) has also talked about the non-Muslim citizens of the Muslim state “One who murder a man under covenant will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise. The

In Muhammad, God reminds every one of his past wrath with the statement, “Have they never journeyed through the land and seen what was the end of those who have gone before them? God destroyed them utterly. A similar fate awaits the unbelievers, because God is the protector of the faithful: because the unbelievers have no protector.” (Muhammad, 47:10). When the world is rid of evil, it will become the kingdom God envisioned it to be.
Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, and Protestantism I. Islam The Muslims’ main sacred text is the Koran, which they believe Gabriel gave to Mohammad from God. Muslims believe that the Koran is the final revelation from God, as the Bible has been “corrupted” upon translation. My passage is Isaiah 53 where it talks about a suffering servant for Israel. While Christians believe this is a prophecy of Jesus, Muslims believe that Jesus was only a prophet. They believe Jesus was never crucified, and Allah made someone look like Jesus instead.
Shahadah is the first pillar that is the act of believing and saying the words “There is no god worthy of worship except god and Muhammad is his messenger”. This is at the very heart of Islam. Before Muhammad and his message the Islamic people worshiped many gods. They had a different god for everything, and gave sacrifices to these gods to keep them happy. After Muhammad brought his message people were to only believe in one god and that no other god was worthy of ones worship.
His purpose was to suffer and die in atonement for the sins of all whom accept his sacrifice for sin. Muslims believe all of God’s prophets, who include Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad brought the same message of Pure Monotheism. For this reason, the Prophet Muhammad was not the founder of a new religion, as many mistakenly think, but he was the Final Prophet of Islam. The Qur’an, the Muslim Bible, is believed to be the last book of God sent to mankind. This is believed to have been given t...
These two combined, form the Islamic creed. I- The Articles of Faith The term monotheism is significant to Islam, meaning that a belief in only one God. The first article of faith in Islam is the belief that there is no deity but God (Allah) and that Muhammad is the messenger of God. A belief in a number of gods or in the extension of God’s spirituality to any person is strongly forbidden. Islam rejects the human points that the Christians and Jews added to their doctrines, such as the incarnation of God.
The Oneness of God is the first of Islam's five pillars, expressed by the Shahadah (testification). By declaring the Shahadah, a Muslim attests to the belief that there are no gods but God, a... ... middle of paper ... ...e and decree over all that occurs, as elaborated in Qur'anic verses such as "Say: 'Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector'...." Muslims believe that nothing in the world can happen, good or evil, except that it has been preordained and permitted by God. Man possesses free will in the sense that he has the faculty to choose between right and wrong, and thus retains responsibility over his actions. Muslims also believe that although God has decreed all things, the evil and calamities that are decreed are done so as a trial, or may possess a later benefit not yet apparent due to mankind's lack of comprehension, and as such does not suggest absence of God's indignation against evil and disbelief. According to Islamic tradition, all that has been decreed is written in "al-Lawh al-Mahfuz", the "Preserved Tablet.
Mohammed, the prophet of Islam, was a great warrior. This invariably led defeated people to believe that he begot a cult of war and violence. Over the centuries, it has developed the ability to instill a sense of holy purpose onto its believers and soldiers, where they go into a battle of certain death for their faith in the holy war. The holy war is still a potent source of conflict and aversion, as many of the problems in the Middle East center around the issue of Islamic Fundamentalism and the holy wars. Originally, Islam was perceived by western historians as a religion of violence and conquest, "by preying on the caravans of the Quraish, Mohammed weakened them to the point of submission” (Anonymous, 1996).
Quran says: "But do not revile those [beings] whom they invoke instead of God, lest they, in their hostility, revile God and out of ignorance" (6:108). Its only upto God to punish all those; non-believers and ignorant. When God is the God of all, then why we create a God of our own souls, a mountain of our own standards. Quran is a s...
They also state that we are to obey God’s word and should surrender/sacrifice ourselves to God. Many Old Testament prophets that are in the bible are also found in the Quran and believe they were sent by God. Many Christians are unaware of the fact that Islam believes Jesus was a man God and that Jesus will return. Both scriptures state, God inspired the Torah, the prophets, and Gospel. They also believe God will resurrect all for judgment, and believers who die will go to heaven and live forever, but those who don't believe will go to hell to be punished forever.
