"The Most Dangerous Game" begins with two friends who are on board of a yacht they described an island they are going to pass by that the sailors are worried about "the old traps call it ` ship – trap island , " ' Whitney replied." A suggestive name isn't it ? Sailors have a curious dread of the place. I don’t know why. This comparison can be made in the short story in that they were both on a war of a sort and they survived. What Rosa Parks and Rainsford did were things that changed people's lives. Rainsford saved the men who could have crashed on the island and had to meet with the evil general Zaroff. What they did took a lot of courage from both of them the consequences could have been death. Another courageous person from history is "Harriet Tubman, Harriet Tubman was an escaped slave who helped lead slaves to freedom. She saved many lives by freeing slaves. Harriet Tubman saved about 300 slaves she risked her life 300 times. Rainsford like Harriet both escaped evil and lead slaves to freedom. Hariet lead slaves that worked for white people to freedom. And Rainsford led slaves that were going to be killed by General zaroff to freedom."Galileo galilee was so committed to his truth and science despite threats that were given to him by Cristian's. The Cristian's did not agree with him they only believed that god created the world and that there was nothing more than god. Rainsford is a little like Galileo in that both fought for the right thing. They both fought for what they believed was the right thing to do.
