Tragic, unexplainable and appalling are words that can define the actions of Bill Cosby (Joan Tarshis) a man that was depicted as a family man a person that accomplished so much in truth a true role model to many viewers. Consequently, it is for those same very reasons why Cosby being accused for being a serial rapist is quite hard to believe to so many. Ta Nehsi Coates uses rhetorical strategies hat will draw out his ideas as well as how the people’s reactions to these tragic events caused by Cosby. His strategies will persuade as well as second guess yourself for if your thoughts are indifferent then the thoughts of coats. When he begins to talk about some experiences as a child being essentially a victim of bullies that would beat, call names, and humiliate him. Being incapable to defend himself being so powerless not able to protect his body he says a true humiliation that even to this day even talking about it publicly is humiliating. he has never been raped he clearly states but his comparison of being bullied is relevant due to the fact that in both events you are powerless incapable to defend yourself.
