In Dave Barry's essay "Lost in the Kitchen" Barry shares his view on sexual equality through his own experience with his family on Thanksgiving. So Barry wants to share his view on this with the men in the world that he believes are losing their role as the top gender that has more responsibilities. To achieve this Barry uses an anaphora to show his audience that there is a shift between the two genders.
