Lexington and Concord: Lexington and Concord was one of the biggest wars in the Revolutionary war. This is the war that people call “The shot heard round the world”. It was the first military engagement of the Revolutionary War. The war was fought on April 8th and 9th of 1775. Some important people involved in the war were Major John Pitcairn, Captain John Parker, Lieutenant Francis Smith, James Barrett, L. Percy, and Thomas Gage. Well let's begin to tell the story about this war, on April 18th 1775, the British troops had departed from Boston and started their march to Concord on the hunt for Colonial arms.
