It is easy to people want to know something by seeing to the object. When a machine operates, engineers have difficulty knowing condition of a machine because they cannot see inside it. Engineers used to overhaul a machine to find defects such as scratch and burn left in the part of machine, but this solution will definitely impact to maintenance cost because overhauling a machine needs time, manpower and money. Maintenance costs are categorized by internal cost such as labour, material and instrument and external cost such as outsourcing (Al-Najjar and Alysouf, 2001). Alternative method is introduced to reduce maintenance cost which is vibration maintenance based method. Like doctors, they know what illness patients by the symptoms, engineers know a machine condition also from its symptom which is vibration. Therefore, vibration based maintenance are an effective solution to know the condition of a machine.
A vibration analyzer is a device that can show how much the machine vibrates and what characteristic of the problem is, so engineers can predict the condition of a machine. Comp...

Research, 2016. Bordo implicated popular culture as having a serious negative role in how women of America view their bodies. These images have led to drastic increase change in life altering female disorders and eating. Not only does these images affect Americans but young men and women too which they should be fighting against it, not for
The rising frequency of teen Internet and social media use, in particular Facebook, has cause parents to lose sight of these websites harmful attributes that lead to eating disorders and extreme dieting. Michele Foster, author of “Internet Marketing Through Facebook: Influencing Body Image in Teens and Young Adults”, published October 2008 in Self Help Magazine, argues Facebook has become the leading social network for teens and young adults aging 17 to 25 years of age, and is also the age range that has significant increases in Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa in women. Foster accomplishes her purpose, which is to draw the parents of teen’s attention to the loosely regulated advertisements on Facebook and Facebook’s reluctance to ban negative body image ads. Foster creates a logos appeal by using examples and persona, pathos appeal by using diction, and ethos appeal by using examples and persona.
Park offers a concise, relevant, and conveniently organized collection of information covering a variety of topics. The topics include illegal immigration and deforestation to diseases such as anorexia. Parks also includes many illustrated facts and statistics to display a friendly format. The book offers many facts and information about the eating disorder, but the main project is about a reality check on how dangerous this disorder is and why teenagers develop it. Rather than a typical published print, this text includes a lot of primary source quotes from patients that have gone through this same disorder. It shows a new
Eating disorders are one of society’s most debilitating physical and psychological problems faced today. In the 1950s Marilyn Monroe was society’s role model, but would now be considered a plus-sized model and somewhat unattractive in society’s eyes (Steinem 5). Now in 2013, Demi Lovato, a pop singer, plays a huge role as a role model for young people, but has recently told the media that she suffers from anorexia nervosa and embraces it, ultimately showing adolescents that eating disorders are socially acceptable and even often encouraged (Cotliar 80). The psychological effects that eating disorders have on a patient can be very detrimental to themselves and often push the patient farther into the disorder than she could ever have imagined ("Prevalence vs. Funding" 3). The physical effects that an eating disorder can have on the body could be as minor as feeling faint to something as major as an organ shut down, or even resulting in death (“Physical Dangers” 2). Eating disorders affect a wide variety of people, particularly adolescent girls, and may ultimately lead to many destructive physical and psychological results.
"Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder on an overwhelming dread of becoming fat. The result of this unfounded fear is self-starvation and major weight loss. In addition, the undernourishment may cause hormonal disturbances, anemia, heart problems, brittle bones and many other problems, some of which are life-threatening ("Anorexia Nervosa," 1). Bulimia is an eating disorder that is psychological in origin and can have dire physical consequences. While anorexics starve themselves, bulimics binge on food and then purge by self-induced vomiting. Bulimics also frequently use diet pills, laxatives, and diuretics to reduce their weight.
There are many different biological approaches that explain the reasons for eating disorders they all have some validity behind them to a certain extent. An eating disorder is a psychological dysfunction that causes a person to change their eating habits to eating less, or more etc.
A great range of people have keen interest in their body shape. However, it becomes a problem when your effort to have an envious physical appearance becomes an obsession. When this obsession falters, you began to lose control of your life and the people affected turn to one of two paths: excessive eating, or self-starvation. This compulsion of food and a physical appearance is also known as an eating disorder. Eating disorders slowly deteriorate your body, beginning with your brain, leading to the start of mental illnesses. Although people suffering with eating disorders know that their body is degenerating, they become ignorant towards their disease and fail to recognize their problem until it is too late.
Eating disorders are described as an illness involving eating habits that are irregular and an extreme concern with body image or weight. Eating disorders tend to appear during teenage years, but can develop at any age. Although more common in women, eating disorders can affect any age, gender or race. In the United States, over 20 million women and 10 million men are personally affected by eating disorders. There are many different causes of eating disorders such as low self esteem, societal pressures, sexual abuse and the victims perception of food. Eating disorders are unique to the sufferer and often, their perception of themselves is so skewed, they may not be aware they have an eating disorder. Media, for quite some time now, has played a significant part in eating disorders. Magazines with headlines ‘Summer Body’, or ‘Drop LB’s Fast!’ attract the attention of girls who may be insecure with themselves. Television productions such as the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show or American’s Next Top Model, show airbrushed and photoshopped women who have body types that may be unachievable. Those who are suffering from eating disorders can suffer dangerous consequences, and it is important to seek help.
What is a feminist approach to understanding eating disorders? Not all feminists have the same understanding of eating disorders. There are many different theories that are prevalent in feminist literature today. This web page will explore some of the different feminist perspectives about the cause of eating disorders in our culture.
Anybody and everybody can become an industrial machinery mechanic; especially, those who are passionate about getting their hands plastered in motor oil, grease, and other mechanical lubricants. These people will more than likely be ecstatic about getting into industrial machinery mechanics. They need to be able to put in one hundred ten percent of their effort into becoming an industrial machinery mechanic. An industrial machinery mechanic’s overall objective on the job is to stop a mechanical error before it happens. An industrial machinery mechanics are often caught repairing, maintaining, and fabricating machinery.
Mechanical engineering is a wide subject with many definitions and qualities about them. A mechanical engineer uses the principles of energy, materials, and mechanics to design and manufacture machines or devices (“Mechanical Engineering Overview”). Another definition that furthers the idea of a mechanical engineer is they research, design, develop, manufacture, test tools and engines (“Mechanical Engineering Overview”). They not only design the tool or devices for customers, but they may also design them for other engineers to help do their job (“Mechanical Engineer Job Description,”). A mechanical engineer is also involved in the mechanisms and methods by which energy is used for practical purposes (Mechanical Engineer Job). A mechanical engineer must have a variety of qualities that are associated with them, as their job varies on daily or weekly basis. One quality a mechanical engineer must have is being strong in math and science, as most of their work deals with thi...

Preventive maintenance can be defined as an activity performed on a certain schedule which is intended to prevent breakdowns or deterioration. These activities can include regular inspection along with solving any discovered problems or situations and regularly scheduled parts changes. Preventive maintenance involves the scheduled adjustment, inspection, replacement of wearable parts, calibrations, basic cleaning and lubrication of equipment or other recommendation made by the equipment manufacturer. These activities can help increase the equipment functional life and help decrease facilities deterioration. No equipment should, No equipment should reach the breaking point [1].
Mechanical engineering is a type of engineering which applies principles of physics and material science for the purpose of analyzing, designing, manufacturing and maintaining of mechanical systems (Gorp, 2005). It is involved with the production and usage of mechanical power in the operation of various machines and tools. Mechanical engineering is considered to be the most diverse engineering and has its breadth derived from the need to design tools and manufacture products which range from small individual parts to large systems. Mechanical engineering, as thought of by scholars, is related to Aerospace engineering, Manufacturing and Mechanical engineering (Van et al, 2011).
