There are few restaurants with drive thrus, and the current packaging leads to sticky greasy messes. Even though Five Guys encourages the customer to sit down, eat some peanuts and finish their burger, there is still a market of To-Go customers. These are our targets, and they are being neglected. The new packaging solves many problems. The first is, holding the bag is difficult when getting the food To-Go, and anything it comes in contact with gets a greasy residue. Having a cardboard/paper box inside a larger bag with handles gives the customer the sense they are actually getting quality food to go. Currently the sack of greasy fries looks cheap, which is opposite of Five Guy’s brand goal. A box to hold the burgers in, instead of foil, also solves the issue of burgers becoming soggy, smushed, and unappetizing. The second concern that is solved is, customers want a way to bring leftovers home after eating in-store. After ripping the bag to get to the fries and burger, the customer has no way to reuse the bag. Now the new packaging can be used both for easier in-store eating as well as

Any retailer will tell you that today's customer is most certainly a savvy shopper. Manufacturers of consumer merchandises are under progressively more pressure to make their merchandises more attractive to shoppers, lest they lose their business to one of the several competitors in the market. Consequently, several businesses are relying on packaging revolutions to make their merchandises more tempting. One such category of packaging that is having a substantial impact on the retail industry is stand up pouches. Stand up pouches are normally made of high-quality plastic, aluminum or a blend of the two laminated together. They are obtainable in a number of shapes and sizes and are totally customizable to your prerequisites.
reason for this is because sellers basically have an infinite amount of inventory and the product is produced on demand, meaning that the seller doesn't need a warehouse for pre-made products.
Good decision making when it comes to packaging is key in making a successful company and brand image. Packaging is a crucial part of selling and marketing a product as well as raising their brand image. Packaging has two different types: primary package and secondary package. Primary package is the “one that the consumer uses, such as the toothpaste tube” (Grewal and Levy 360). Secondary package is “the wrapper or exterior carton that contains the primary package and provides the UPC label used by retail scanners” (360). Companies use product packaging as a way to protect their products as well. An example of this would be with how Apple packages their products. With the Apple iPhone, they package it in a way that is attractive to their customers.

Packaging of the product is not just limited to the wrapper or label of the product it is more than that to the container, box or carton. Packaging is the last opportunity to convince the customer for the product thus the design of the product should be simple, authentic and clear.
Without doubt the XXI century has changed our priorities, especially when it comes to the way we do business. Popular sustainable business models, as advertised in the media, have evolved into much more than a moral obligation or an external requirement to generate money. Essentially, are forcing companies to reinvent the systems and approaches with which they generate value and profitability to the company.
Based on that experience, and our knowledge of the pressures that manufacturers are under to increase efficiency and reduce cost, it became obvious to us that we needed to provide a wider array of services to help our customers increase their efficiencies, reduce their overall costs and maximize their ROI on each project, part or component. This vision has lead us to add assembly, decorating (in and post mold), reusable packaging, RFID and much more to our capabilities.
Packaging and packaging designs have turned into important aspects in the promotion of varied “customer goods” and have a major function in messaging merchandise benefits to the consumer. Customers are the major actors in setting up and put into practice packages. Hereby, the key issue for packaging design is to understand and satisfy the consumer (Stewart 2004). An innovative packaging design can change product perception and create a new market position (Rundh, 2005). Customer trial, happiness and repeat buy, might be a straight task of packaging for countless customer non-durables, and possibly a number of durables as well. Apparently, attracting the customer to a test buy is inadequate for factual product enlargement and ultimate mellowness. Customers who are aggravated by packages that cannot be their choice in terms of sizes may opt for products that have carefully considered the human being state in their package design. Bix, et al (……). The following question is therefore
Consumers have expectations In terms of a good quality product that should be availed at a reasonable price. Consumers don’t only want the business to be socially responsible towards them in this manner of reasonable prices but way beyond this. They should meet the needs of consumers in ways of convenience and appearance. But business should also consider other aspects like environmental impact when packaging is disposed.
