Introduction

Throughout the term and study of Resilient Leaders and Organizational Management and Leadership many aspects of leadership were studied. All of these aspects work together as a body that forms the leader. From these bodies of knowledge five concepts stood out. Additionally, three key sets of scripture are highlighted that paint a picture of leadership in the biblical sense.

The group determined five key concepts that help define a leader held such importance that they were set apart for this submission. The first is integrity. All leaders will face tribulations. Dees defines this as a contact sport. (Dees, 2013) Tribulations can occur even when leaders are doing the right thing. A key for dealing with leadership is not to hide in times of crisis but to be out in front of their teams. Tribulation also requires leaders to turn complex situations into simple terms. Leaders must be held accountable is some shape, form, or fashion by the organization. According to Dees accountability is the end point of a three leadership expectations. Leaders have authority, they carry responsibilities, and for that authority and responsibility they should be held accountable. (Dees, 2013, p. 51) In Organizational Management and Leadership it is discussed that leaders with legitimate power have that power thanks to position. (Satterlee, 2013, p. 8) If that power is not held accountable to staff, other leaders, policies, procedures, mission, and vision the power could easily run amuck and be detrimental to efficiency and
