Vladimir Putin
Legend of the 21st century
Have you ever heard of Vladimir Putin? He is the current President of Russia. He has had an extensive political career in his lifetime. He has also been involved with many Russian agencies including but not limited to, the infamous KGB. Many U.S. analysts have concluded from experiments that the president walks similar to others that were also in the KGB, according to onenewspage.com. The KGB was an essential agency for the Soviet Union to survive, even though they didn’t. Putin walks the way only KGB members do, with the right arm down without movement, and the left arm swinging freely. Other researchers say that this is a symptom of an early form of Parkinson's Disease, according to CBS

Among the problems that face our nation, illegal immigration seems to be one of the most regarded. “In 2005, there were 12.7 million people classified as refugees in the world. Refugees are forced to migrate because of danger in their own country.” (Cath Senker 12) Some push to end it while others want to have it legalized or less strict. There are many points that are argued on this topic. Although immigrants support the economy, they should have to pay taxes. Illegal immigration should be stopped or slowed until the legalization process and borders are improved. Due to the fact, that taxpayers are the backbone of our economy and nation as a whole.
At 7:32 p.m. December 25, 1991, the Soviet flag was lowered from the Kremlin in Moscow for the last time and replaced with the pre-revolutionary Russian flag, which symbolized the disintegration of Soviet Union. Early in the day, the last president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, resigned his post, and Boris Yeltsin became the president of the newly independent Russian state. With the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the campaign between the Soviet Union and the United States ended. Nonetheless, although the end of the Cold War makes people around the world enter a peaceful time, until now both people in the past and historians are amazed why the previous powerful Soviet Union collapsed suddenly. Thereby, the cause of the collapse of the Soviet Union is still an everlasting and popular topic in the world.

Following the death of Stalin, a brewing rivalry between Malenkov and Khrushchev manifested itself. It resulted in Malenkov resigning as prime minister in February 1955. The resignation of Malenkov allowed Khrushchev to become the most important figure within the collective leadership.
Bernie Sanders is the former senator of the state of Vermont and is currently running to be the democratic representative in the 2016 Presidential Election. Bernie Sanders has stated that he is a socialist democrat but it is unclear whether he is either a socialist or a liberal. His statement is unclear because on some topics he takes on more liberal view than a socialist view. Bernie Sanders is known for being a strong believer of the government helping out the economy more and having the wealthy pay more taxes. He wants less poverty in society and help it have a consistent middle class. Two issues that I agree with Bernie on is his views on helping the economy and his views on the war on terror. The Soviet Union was a global superpower, possessing the largest armed forces on the planet with military bases from Angola in Africa, to Vietnam in South-East Asia, to Cuba in the Americas. When Mikhail Gorbachev succeeded Konstantin Chernenko as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in March 1985, nobody expected than in less than seven years the USSR would disintergrate into fifteen separate states.
