The Middle ages were a controversial and significant time period throughout European history. The Middle ages lasted from the 5th to the 15th century and soon developed into the Age of discovery and Renaissance after. Although the Middle Ages were referred to the age of faith, darkness, and an age of feudalism, it was evident that this time brought of lost peace, prosperity, harmony, and stability leading this era to be classified as a golden age. This age was a time period where people lived in peace and harmony, regions prospered from trading with one another and the wide spread of culture brought people as one.
