Chapter Five Stephenie Meyer is my favorite author and the reason I want to be a writer. “To me a story is a story… I don’t even think about where it might belong until long after it’s written,” is a quote from her that inspires me to become a writer. “The most important thing you can do is write for yourself,” is another reason why I write. The most important hobbies to me are reading, writing and singing. I don’t know any famous readers, but my favorite singing artist is Carrie Underwood. She is so unique, unafraid to let people know her Christian faith, and has such a beautiful voice. My favorite writers are Stephenie Meyer and Gayle Forman. They inspired me to become I writer, so that’s what I want to do. My first hobby is writing. I mostly write at home, but now that I have a creative writing class, I’m writing now and will be for a while. I do it whenever I can and that’s a lot of time. I do it because it makes me feel like I’m the person I’m writing about and that I feel like I’m part of more than I really am in life, that’s also the best

I don’t enjoy it as much as reading, but I do love it to a certain point. When I was little my Nanny would always sing me to sleep—she would sing a song about angels watching over us.
