newable Energy David Greeff LIV O A definition of renewable energy :a source of energy that is not used up when used. Renewable energy is an energy that can be used over and over , it is natural and is also good for the environment . It is a viable option in South Africa especially with solar panels that can transfer heat into electricity . Sun : The sun is a renewable energy source, solar panels use the sun in order to transfer heat into electricity, then we use that electricity for our own purposes. Biomass : Using animal waste and plant material to create a source of energy to create fires,for example using cow waste and corn waste to create methanol which can be used to create fires. Wind : We can use the wind to turn massive turbines ,that take a lot of energy to turn , to create electricity that we can use for our own purposes . There is also hydro turbines that use water from a river running through it to create electricity. Personally I think that South Africa or even the world should try to conserve non-renewa...
