I am writing to express my interest in the position of Registered Nurse in Pre Admission Clinic at the Princess Alexandra hospital (PAH). I believe that my education, experience and qualifications could make a valuable contribution.

As a registered nurse, I endeavour to provide patient centered care. I am currently working as a registered nurse at Churches of Christ Care Clive Burdeu Aged Care Services. I am experienced in administering medication, taking patient measurements, basic wound management, educate residents on medication and total wellness care, and conduct their daily activities with dignity and comfort. My time as a nurse has taught me to be adaptable and resourceful and I have the ability to take initiative and supervise others. I am also familiar with electronic documentation such as ICARE and Autumncare software to update or access residents’ database. My responsibilities there have included assisting residents in daily living activities, medication administration, providing general care and emotional support. Upon graduating from the university, I have worked as a registered nurse in Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital (July to September 2015) in Brisbane. This provided an opportunity for me to gain valuable experience in hospital setting such as admission, assessment, treatment and education. My experience in hospital has given me exceptional capacity to accomplish required nursing tasks while delivering good patient care. Besides that, I also have my placement in PAH Pre Admission clinic which enable me to familiarise some of the basic nursing tasks that.
