Miami Dade County in Miami, Florida has substantially increased its population to 7.8 percent in the past 5 years from 2011 to 2016. As a result in 2017, Miami Dade County decided that it would be best for the public interest to use Miami Executive Airport located in Miami Kendall, to use it as an airport for commercial regional airliners to transport within the state and rename it as Miami Regional Airport. The airport was originally used for corporate aircraft, which used approximately 6,000 feet of runway length, but after one year expansion, in 2018 the airport extended it runway length to 8,000 feet to accommodate the regional airliners take off & landing provisions. Amongst the regional airliners to be used in the airport are Boeing 717, Bombardier CRJ700, and Embraer ERJ 145 family. The homeowners association of Kendall took this issue very seriously and decided to file a suit against Miami Dade for violation of noise ordinances. During injunction, the Homeowners Association of Kendall presented in their case, that the airport was not complying with the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, stating that the airplanes that were flying on top of communities within one mile of the airport were producing noise levels of 65 DNL (day-night sound level) or higher. Secondly, they also presented that the operation of airport was causing an unnecessary nuisance to the community of Kendall, stating that the hours of operations of the airport were running for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week & that these irrational hours of operation, were in violation of regulations for public health, safety and
