This being my first year of teaching I feel there are so many things that I have learned, and have helped me too become a good teacher. Yet I have so much more to learn, I still believe that students have the ability to learn and as a teacher it is my job to find ways to help them to become the best person they can be. Through being a reflective teacher, using professionalism, respecting diversity and having collaboration and community connecting this can be accomplished. When I am having fun teaching the student will have learning that material, this will help them to be relaxed and engaged in that lesson. But I do feel that we are all there to help the students succeed. When I see a teacher not following the student 's IEP that is when I have to remember to take a step back and calm down and talk to them professionally and with respect. I remind them that that is the IEP and that 's what we need to do what it says. I feel the best way to show high ethical standard is to model it. When the students don 't have a good example set, they will follow the easy examples. If an educational teacher has her cell phone out in the middle of class, then the student may not be paying attention to the lesson, they maybe concentrating more on the cell phone and why it is okay for her to have it out. It is very important to not talk badly about the students or the teachers when you 're in a group. It your opinion of them and it may not be who they are if you 're having trouble with a student. I try to talk to a teacher everyday about different topics. By talking with other teachers who are in there first-year teachers or seasoned teachers they have different ways of seeing thing. These teachers give me a different thought on how to do certain lessons. I realized my classroom setting is different due to how low my students are compared to the rest, but they really helped me to understand how to bring common core standards down to the level that my students need to learn. Like I said before, I can be doing 4 different lessons at the same time, but we 're all still doing a main theme. Whether it 's adding subtracting or reading comprehension, we 're all looking for the characters or the setting. These teachers are extremely helpful to me to be successful within my
