Globalization has become the term that is used to refer to various phenomena and processes that are brought about by changes towards economic interaction in the world. This generally includes trade, capital cultural, and financial expansion. In this reflection role of women is Africa during globalization was looked strongly. The core discussion lies in the conversion of women’s role from traditional management and policy maker task to housekeeping role as translated between the “new civilizations”. Globalization has led to an increase rate in violations of women’s rights in political and cultural rights. Many international organizations have proven that the new trade agreement and the letter of international convention have provided women with increase opportunities to on international level as well as regional. Where globalization has led to increase rates of job market and has switched women’s role to more than a “housekeeper” it has also been proven that there are many inequalities in gender.

In an interview, Margaret Chenda talks about role of gender in globalization in Africa. She explains how men and women are affected differently due to gender inequalities in access to and control of economic recourses as well as social resources. She goes further onto explaining how the developing countries continue to discriminate female worker in terms of recruitment and labor rights and stay locked in at lower level than men would. Available evidence show that even though the labor force rates are likely to go up with globalization for both genders, the wage gap between them remains strong. The establishment of NGOs around the world and collaboration efforts of some organizations has improved the lives of women in developing countries. As a result organizations have reached women to meet their needs if farming, protection, healthcare, domestic issue, employment and reduction in financial difficulties in daily lives of women. The attention has also been imposed on education for women and creating social awareness about inequalities facing women in Africa. Giving advancement of female opportunities and giving females more right will increase the quality of life and create a more sustainable standard for women and their families in developing countries like Africa. These are the required changed by globalization in order to lessen the suffering with the economic market for women.
