Foundations

Beth works with a diverse group of students at a title one school. She has worked with a lot of students who are developing at different stages. She has worked with students who struggle with behavior and academics here at Audubon. Beth truly believes that any student in the building has the ability to learn. She uses the student’s unique abilities and accommodates their specific learning needs.

Beth and I have worked on the common core in the areas of math, writing, and reading. She has seen the common core used in each one of my lessons and is included in my lesson plans each week.

Beth and I have worked collaboratively on the roles and responsibilities of our individual job titles. Beth has always been very professional

Beth works with our nursing staff giving them a break throughout the day in order to service students who may be sick or

She supports the high expectations that I have set in my classroom and whether I’m here or not holds the students accountable for those expectations.

Beth is constantly monitoring students in my classroom marking down information about IEP observations. She reports to me observations that she sees throughout the day. This is a great way for us to single out a student and work towards helping them to become the best student they can be in the classroom.

Beth has a unique way of working with extremely disruptive students curbing their behavior and accomplishing the goal set. She has a canny ability to reach students that others have been having issues with in the past. Beth has the patience and understanding that students gravitate too.

Beth has also assisted with the implementation of technology in the classroom. Our school has ipads and computer laptops that we use every day. Beth has been a huge help by assisting me throughout the day with logging in and maintaining discipline will working on the
