This website can be accessed by students, teachers, and administrators who are tasked to monitor the website. To be able to use this website, students need to create an account that contains the student's brief data. After that, subsequent access only needs to enter student ID and password that have been registered before. On the website, it will contain some material that can be used by students as a reference in learning. It also contains some tasks assigned by the teacher to be collected at the next meeting or emailed to the teaching
As discussed above, the literature showed that more studies are needed on learners use of technology and their preferences, on the skills they bring to the course and on their perception of experts; what I mean hear is not any expert but teacher(s), irreplaceable in such online learning environment of “freedom and chaos” where there is no certainty that if “one connect one will learn”.
Technologies used in training and education are a popular topic of discussion all over the world. Two major views on delivery modes of educational content exist: some focus on asynchronous delivery for the accessibility of information anytime and anywhere through the use of collaborative tools while whereas others focus on the real-time interaction with the instructor, students, and content during class through synchronous delivery. This comparative analysis will look at Elluminate, a synchronous application, and compare it to Sakai, an asynchronous application. The comparative analysis will further examine general aspects, technological components, pedagogical concepts, strengths and limitations of systems that affect students and instructors for both technologies. This analysis would be helpful to a student who wants to learn how to explore web-based technologies and compare systems.
