Reflection On Cooperative Teacher

Over the course of these six weeks I been tested both emotionally, physically and mentally. The teaching profession is very difficult but rewarding. We will be tested in so many ways but the reward is amazing when we see students succeed and grow. I have been super blessed with my school placement over the summer. The school is very great supportive through their coaches and my cooperative teacher. Ms. Glosson my Cooperative teacher is a veteran teaching English in middle school. She has been supportive and always gives me advice. I love how we work together and I like to get her involved in the lesson. I also like to respect her space because it’s her classroom and her space. I love how attentive she is and how she is willing to stand up for us fellows because she knows that we 're going through a lot of pressure.

I like to incorporate the “Arts” within my classroom. One of the things that I 've been actually struggling with a lot is aligning my standards with my objectives and making sure that everything is completely aligned. I 'm having my students working on a song and that doesn 't really line well with the curriculum which is causing problems. Also my coach is not so enthusiastic about me incorporating the “Arts” within the classroom. He does not see the valve of the “Arts” in the classroom. Yet the reason why am doing this project is to have my students thinking about their future of hopes and dreams. I believe that we can incorporate all forms of “Arts” in multiple subject areas and it allows students use it to engage students. I want to encourage my students to realize that their dreams can happen. Many of my students want to be an audio engineer, FBI, architect, and an actor. I mean they are super amazing and super smart. I just want to open up their eyes into the future and what could be their future if they set their minds to
