My partner Faris and I did a presentation during the term 2. I will talk about my experience of introducing my presentation on the topic of Samsung marketing mix(4Ps).We used a long time to prepare this presentation.First we need to choose one product or service to research. We choose the Samsung which is a famous mobile brand. The reason why we choose this brand is Samsung is a South Korean multinational conglomerate company, but it has a not good marketing shares in Britain. We want to use the 4Ps marketing mix to improve the Samsung’s marketing shares. Then we designed our questionnaire.I think the most important section ,because all of data is from the questionnaire. If you do not design a good

This meaning i just provide the information which is the same information i have in my slides. My intonation also is not good. it is in some places and some parts unclear.I think is I don't have a correct pronunciation maybe due to voice and pacing. And for each part of 4Ps.First,i talk about the product. We illustrate the problem of product clearly and give a relevant way to improve. We give a example to explain our suggestion. But it maybe is a normal idea.It lack of creativity and no link to current trends. Second, the promotion of product,i give an example from above and below the line are mention. My suggestion also in a relevant way.But it have the same problem with the product.Third, the price of price. For this part ,we compare with another brand’s mobiles, and we suggested to change the price. But we have not give more detail to talk about why we nee to change. For the place of product, we still do not give more detail. For the whole PowerPoint,i have a good construction, but some slides have too much irrelevant information and some slide maybe too simple and have some spelling mistake. For the questions,We have a effective response to audience
It is vital for any presentation a well develop organization, is important to communicate with efficiency and clarity, a bad communication can turn out to be an unrealized business, or a misunderstood task. Although knowledgeable speakers, need to be prepare before giving a speech. When speakers rehearsed their presentations, they will deliver a good speech because they will look secured, prepared, and knowledge about the topic they are talking about. This will engage the audience, allowing the speakers to achieve the result desired which is persuade the listener to be involved in their projects. On the other hand,
I have improved most in the WOVE area of visual communication this semester. Beginning the course, I did not know the correct way to create a powerpoint presentation that supports the speaker without being a distraction. This semester, I learned that only minimal wording is required on the slides to deliver the main points. The majority of the slideshow can be pictures, charts, or graphs, so long as it remains relevant to the topic. I specifically remember using this new technique for my part of the visual analysis presentation, keeping my bullet points to under five words, if possible.
Firstly, one of the most important focuses would be given to the target customer as we will need to know more about their taste and preferences. What it is they need and or want. Particular topics covering this area will be, the need for ‘Market segmentation’, identifying a competitive position in the market about to enter in the market and studying consumer behaviour, will all be discussed.
At the beginning I was really afraid to express my opinion about my team project, but all my team members are really friendly and willing to listen to my opinions. I really had good time while doing this project, as a communicator in my group, I made Google doc to let every member give their own opinions and that is also a good method to discuss our project online. Moreover, I designed the PowerPoint and provided lots of pictures to make our project wonderful. For our presentation, even though I felt so nervous and could not speak well on my presentation, my team members are really nice and encourage me a lot. For the team paper, I divided into four parts to discuss more details about our main points of the topic; at first I thought that it would be difficult to do this part, yet one of my team members used interesting way, Rock-paper-scissors, it is a fair way to do it, and every members are willing to do this. In short, I really enjoyed doing this project and had great time with all of my team
I found the main goal of the article to explain the concept of marketing. As the author implies, the concept of the marketing mix is a great tool to give an answer to the question “what is marketing”. It is a great introduction of the elements of marketing as a whole, with visual charts that sum the different marketing forces. Marketing is not about doing or not doing, its mainly about doing the right things for your operation with consideration of the resources that are available. This also sheds light over the fact that managing functions of marketing must be oriented to the market and with consideration of the marketing changes make a marketing mix that fits the resources of the firm.
The Informative speech was much harder for me to grasp on to right from the beginning, I knew what I need to do in general to be successful but my topic was so broad I had a hard time narrowing it down how I wanted to present the information. My introduction was
I will do this by finishing my presentation and go over the checklist, and I will make changes if needed. I also need to make note cards, so that will help me stop reading off the projector screen. I also need to make sure I enunciate and have good pronunciation of my words so I don’t mumble. I will also need to improve going into monotone as that makes the speech boring. I will also need to improve my conclusions. When I practice my speech, I tend to skip going over my conclusion and it hurts me in the long run. I need to have an impactful conclusion that the audience will remember me
As we stated in our presentation, we never had any disagreement about anything because, coincidentally majority of my group members completed their preparation assignment from the organizational culture and communication topics. The commonality and connection among the assignments made us jointly decide on the effective communication topic to select for presentation. We had no prior process decided to go through. We started by listening to everyone’s topics one by one and made a note about each topic. We analyzed all the topics together and discovered the connecting link between all of them, which was the communication concept. After acquiring everyone’s suggestions we then decided on the topic and believed that after the presentation everyone is the class would listen and get connected to our topic which would help them in their future issues as
While presenting, my leg began shaking! It took me by surprise because this has never happened before. I spoke with no signs of nervousness, but my leg shook like I was. I do not know if it was noticeable to my peers, but it was something I could evidently tell while bestowing information upon my classmates. The informative speech has been different than my SHIELD speech because my the informative contains more historical facts rather than personal information. My topic was also over something I was not truly passionate about. I know I should have done something that came from my heart, but I felt like I overanalyzed multiple topics that I had in mind doing. So, I concluded that each would be better for a different kind of speech. The SHIELD speech was definitely something that placed closer to my heart, making it easier to share with my class. Something I will do differently next, is practice more. I mentioned that earlier in my other journal, but I am saying it again in this one. Practicing more is one of my goals for oral communications so, I will continue to pursue it until I reach it. Finally, a few types of situations where you would have to give a detailed informative speech would be in places such as work or
Making a successful public presentation or speech to an audience was a very big task for me before I joined the public speaking class. I was always frightened and very nervous. Since then I now understand the process of making a speech or a presentation including coming up with a topic and from this topic develop the main points of the speech, research, organize my points, revise them, edit and make a magnificent presentation to any audience. People in the audience might sometimes agree or disagree with my opinion or points, it was therefore necessary to communicate my information clearly to the audience without making any judgments since every person was entitled to a different opinion and views about things.
To be a successful business, the owner of the business should use the marketing mix and the results of market research; having identified its key audience a company has to ensure a marketing mix is created that is targeted specifically to those people. The marketing mix is a term used to describe the four main marketing tools, Price, Product, Promotion and Place (EStartup business blog, 2010). An example of each 4P’s are: which products are well received, what prices consumers are willing to pay, what TV programs, newspapers and advertising consu...
Practice is a major role that needs to be played when it comes to presenting. Practicing, I feel gives you more confidence in your speech, and more preparation than if you were to not practice. Rehearsing before the speech then presenting makes you seem like you actually know what you are talking about even if the only reason you know all these facts is because of study and practicing. Practicing through my speech really helps me with my presentation, if I practice enough, I feel very confident to where I wouldn’t need t a paper to look at notes during the speech. This concept is important for anything. Practicing will always help you with any future task.
After re watching my own presentation I have noticed many different things that I didn’t think of or notice when I was originally presenting it. While watching it some of the things that I think I did well on where first my talking. This is something that I know I did better on because I did my presentation a little different from everyone else. Another thing that I think worked well for my presentation was the word to picture ratio. I felt like I did a good job not putting my entire script on the screen but enough to give the class a good summery about what I was talking about. Some areas of the rubric that I still think I need to work on is being more specific on answering the essential question making it more obvious as to what my over
A marketing mix is what businesses use to detail the main functions of business marketing and do into further explanation as of how those functions influence the success or failure of a business. There are several different marketing mix tools, the four P’s is a very useful tool explaining the main functions of a marketing mix. A basic way of describing the marketing mix is the four P’s: Product,Place, Price, Promotion. A very important part of understanding how to use this tool is asking yourself questions that will help you understand each individual part of the marketing mix. Many people use this process to check their existing business to see if there are improvements to be made. The four P’s marketing mix system could also be used before starting a new business or offering a new product to give yourself guidelines on how to run your new business.
