Reflection About English

My family moved to the U.S. about five years ago. Before I came to the United States, I only have a little knowledge of English. As soon as I came, I have to start my school as a high school student. At the beginning of school I felt very stressful because I could not understand anything, and I’m very shy to make any friends because I could not speak any English. So I worked harder to try to pass all my class and to improve my English skills. My family is first generation immigrant so they cannot speak any English as well, so they all depends on me to help them translate everything. This can be very annoy but I did help me improved my English skills very soon.I also has regrets on some achievement I could done in High school but I didn’t. If I learned more on the writing process, grammar and citation in High School I would not struggle in college. And sometimes I’m not staying on point and sometimes out of topic. In my essay I saw that my essay there is tough transition between paragraphs.And the Academic writing is always smooth and flow.I also realize that my writing use evidences the transition is also very tough,sometimes I just use direct quote. My writing paragraph are stay focus just like the academic writing. In lower order of concerns I saw that I’m not using strong verbs , I always use simple word and I had a lot grammar problems as well. In the other hand academic writing used strong verbs and had no grammar error at
