Introduction
In this reflection paper I will talk about the subject of Angels and Demons. I became a Christian at an early age and angels and demons were not spoken on in my house. So I didn’t learn about them until I became an adult and even then I did not know what I know now about them. Since I have attended class here at Liberty University I can say that I have more knowledge of what Christianity really means. And I also can say that Angels and Demons do exists and that they have been around since the beginning of time. (words 113)

And there spirit fell into and unclean state from the way God created them, they became evil and God does not dwell with uncleanliness. The first demon to fall in this state was “Satan” he was thrown out of heaven. God cast him and several other fallen angels, Satan is known as the ruler of the world until Jesus returns. Demons are believers of Jesus and they know that he is God, but there mission is to try and capture as many lost souls as possible before Jesus returns. This (1 Peter 5:8, KJV) “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world”. “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9, KJV). In the Old Testament it teaches that demons are enemies of God and they have no powers. Jesus has disarmed them and they have no authority. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is of the world” (1 Peter 4:4). Practical Application of Demons
Demons do exist and are walking the earth trying to destroy Gods children. And as followers of Jesus Christ we have to keep in mind that Satan is here and his man purpose is to capture the weak. “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6: 10-8, KJV). As children of God we know that Satan does exist. According to Etzel, Satan will not stop trying to attack the believers of God so that he can make a statement that to God his believers are not worthy of his grace (2015) (206). (words 106)

Not a bit of darkness abounds near or in God. He defeated darkness a long time ago, no need to try again. The demons do not desire the value of life or change. The love of change is another thing the devil does not care for. In Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings" an angel symbolizes the unfamiliar. The angel is not just a celestial body, but a foreign body-someone who stands out as being different from the rest of society. Consequently, the angel draws attention to civilized society's reaction, ergo the community's reaction within the story when it confronts him. Using the angel as a symbol, Marquez shows how ignorance reveals the vulnerability of human nature often leading to uncivilized behaviour.

Six years ago a little girl from my church approached me and asked why the devil existed, and why bad things happen. At the moment I was a little perplexed and did not know what to say. All that came to my mind was that humankind needed a scapegoat to blame for the occurrence of unfavorable incidents. Blaming adverse conditions on the devil is the easy and obvious way out of any situation. All one has to do is to say that the devil was the cause of the situation and wash his hands of the entire problem. At twelve years old, I thought that humanity used the devil as a way to elude responsibility and to ignore the consequences of its actions.
The Bible contains many stories of people having an encounter with angels. An encounter alludes to an unexpected meeting. The word “angel” is a transliteration from the Hebrew word “mal’ak” in the Old Testament (Strong’s H4397) and the Greek word “angelos” in the New Testament (Strong’s G32). Both words mean “messenger” and describes one who executes the plan and will of the person whom they serve.
Believing in the Angels of God is the second article of faith in Islam. These angels are purely spiritual and glorious beings created by God. These angels are sinless. David Almond has thoroughly and clearly displayed the theme. Unanswered question always leaves a person’s imagination whirring with theories, belief and disbelief. We can only imagine what angels look like, but what they do is clear. Most people use their ideas and dreams to make their world better by turning them into reality. So dream, the world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless.
In scripture, we can see that more than once Jesus cast out demons from people and had the power to shut their mouths. In Luke 11:14 one can see the power of Christ over demons, “And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.” Another place in scripture that we can see where evil gets its power from is in the book of Job. Satan had to ask for God’s permission to torment Job. We know by this that any authority Satan has, has been given to him by God. Some people say that it is evil and only investigated by those who worship Satan. In contrast, demons possess a human life. having to be drawn out by a priest. Quotation from the Holy Bible Acts 16:18“And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.”
It is important to know the changes Satan progressed throughout the story. In the beginning of the story, Satan’s speeches were mostly self glorification. Satan saw himself as the most dangerous position and severely reprimanded by God. Satan saw himself as daring and smart, which was demonstrated in Book three when he fooled Uriel while disguised as a lower ranking angel. His speeches were mostly self glorification, but as the story progressed Satan’s characterization changed. He had all the emotions of a human; he had fear, anger, sadness and resentment. Ask anyone to draw Satan and you 'll get a red snake-like figure with horns and a pitchfork. Satan, as introduced in the Hebrew bible is an unworthy adversary of God. His longing to be like God is quickly recognized and dealt with. God banishes him from Heaven and sends him to Hell. That 's the last we see of him until he talks with God about his faithful servant Job. In each interaction we see Satan in, we get only a glimpse of who he really is. Satan 's motive is not developed and we assume he does evil simply because he is evil
