Personal Reflection

According to Statistics Canada, there is growing concern that Canada’s landfills are reaching capacity and it is becoming increasingly difficult to site for new ones. Although here in Canada, the blue bins are commonly seen in school, household, and many other public areas, our population still lack motivation to recycle. The possible outreach to recycle isn’t just simply placing the bins at every location, but rather, educating the population about the benefits of recycling. This is a major issue that requires not only the action of the people; the government should also create campaigns, and perhaps, impose laws in regards to this problem. Together, the slogan of go green and sustain nature can be made possible!
