Reason for performing Part A this experiment is to measure and record the distance from the target and diameter of the shot. Reason for doing this Part B experiment is to measure the mass without fluids then measure the mass with fluids. Also, the results of the experiments are different throughout the experiment. The lab experiment was consisted of a target, a ruler, and a magnum balls. First, we performed the experiment alone then work in groups. The procedure is to drop the magnum balls three times and measure the distant with a ruler. After measuring the distant, we get into groups and performed the previous procedure. In this essay, the author

  • Explains that the lab experiment consisted of a target, ruler, and magnum balls. they performed the experiment alone then worked in groups.
  • Recommends placing the target on the table and raising the magnum ball three inches in the air.
  • Explains how to drop the magnum ball and measure the distance from the bull's eye in centimeters.
  • Explains how to use the digital beam balance to measure the mass of a cylinder without water.
  • Explains how to subtract the amount of water in graduated cylinder by the mass of an empty graduated

  • Explains that part a experiment involves using a target, ruler, and magnum ball to measure the distance from the bull's eye.

Measure the mass of a graduated cylinder with water. 5. Subtract the amount of water in graduated cylinder by the mass of an empty graduated cylinder. This answer will give the mass of water. Data See attached sheet. Result and Discussion Part A experiment involves with using a target, a ruler, and a magnum ball. Reason to perform this method is to measure the distant from the bull’s eye and the location of the magnum ball lands. After measuring the distant, the individual must get a partner and perform the experiment again. After performing the experiment alone three times, the results for the distant from bull’s eye are: 2cm, 4cm, and 6cm. The lowest average distance enclosing the shots is 2 cm. The result wasn’t the expectation of the person performing the experiment. There’re some tedious and yet encounter while performing the experiment. For instance, using the digital beam balance the person must remember to press zero before placing the cylinder on the scale. Then, measuring the plastic tube was the difficult tactic because the millimeter on the plastic tube are smaller than the graduated cylinder. This method possess concentration and a sturdy hand to get on the 8mL mark.
