There aren’t too many cases of racism in the NBA, but when there is it brings emotions out of the different races, players, coaches, managers, and most of all fans. Today there are many different situations that are changing the way that players act like the most recent.
What’s happening today?
Michael Jordan, or the greatest player of all time, who admitted that he was racist as a young teenager, which was reported May 7, 2014.Another case is the Donald Sterling case, which is the Los Angeles Clippers owner who was “let go” from the organization, which is very rare and unusual
The Big Problem
The “big” problem is Donald Sterling. Late April TMZ reported the racist remarks, the NBA investigated almost immediately, releasing statements and more about why the argument between Donald Sterling and his girlfriend was started by a social media website, Sterling’s girlfriend, V. Stiviano, posting of picture of her and Erving “Magic” Johnson, and bringing African-Americans to his games.
