Why do people stereotype others because of their race? Why are there so many hate groups in the U.S. today? What triggers the modern-day police officers to brutally beat and kill the innocent people of America. As we know racism is one of the main problems in America today. Racism is not right for anybody or any group of people and destroying our societies. Stereotypes, racial hate groups,racial hate crimes, and police brutality are the main racial conflicts in the world today.
First off, if you don’t know what “racism” means, it’s the reference against a person or group of people only because of their race. Racism is also the belief that all members from a specific ethnic group share all the same behaviors, traits, and tendencies that separate them from one another. A stereotype is the picture in your mind or belief of a particular type of person or thing. The main stereotype going around is the “Muslim Stereotype”.The stereotype for Muslims are that all Muslims are terrorist, which is not true at all. It’s somewhat fair because from 2000 to 2001, the Muslim incidents were at an all time low at 28, but increased to 481 incidents that following year, according to an FBI report. Right now there are 917 hate groups currently operating in the United States, according to The Southern Poverty Law Center. In an FBI report, almost 60% of the hate crimes committed in 2015 were done racially. Which means that 5,818 crimes in 2015 were done because someone or a group of people didnt like a certain person or group because of their race. 52.7% of those crimes were targeted towards African Americans. I think that this is absolute nonsense. If you are a racist and hate a certain group of people, it’s all good as long as you keep it to yourself instead of harming innocent
