Why do people stereotype others because of their race? Why are there so many hate groups in the U.S. today? What triggers the modern-day police officers to brutally beat and kill the innocent people of America. As we know racism is one of the main problems in America today. Racism is not right for anybody or any group of people and destroying our societies. Stereotypes, racial hate groups,racial hate crimes, and police brutality are the main racial conflicts in the world today.
First off, if you don’t know what “racism” means, it’s the reference against a person or group of people only because of their race. Racism is also the belief that all members from a specific ethnic group share all the same behaviors, traits, and tendencies that separate them from one another. A stereotype is the picture in your mind or belief of a particular type of person or thing. The main stereotype going around is the “Muslim Stereotype”.The stereotype for Muslims are that all Muslims are terrorist, which is not true at all. It’s somewhat fair because from 2000 to 2001, the Muslim incidents were at an all time low at 28, but increased to 481 incidents that following year, according to an FBI report. Right now there are 917 hate groups currently operating in the United States, according to The Southern Poverty Law Center. In an FBI report, almost 60% of the hate crimes committed in 2015 were done racially. Which means that 5,818 crimes in 2015 were done because someone or a group of people didnt like a certain person or group because of their race. 52.7% of those crimes were targeted towards African Americans. I think that this is absolute nonsense. If you are a racist and hate a certain group of people, it’s all good as long as you keep it to yourself instead of harming innocent

For decades now, popular culture has been tainted by the perpetual use of racial stereotypes that come to us through music, television, and film. These reactionary stereotypes are often unaddressed and often permeate the minds of those too young to understand what a stereotype is. Therefore the effects of these conventionalized ideas continue to prevail throughout our society as they are repeatedly swept under the rug. However, although seemingly less common, there are also forms of media with goals of bringing attention to toxic stereotypes while still entertaining their audiences. African-Americans, Arabs, and Latin@’s are three of the most prevalent minority groups represented in the media and by analyzing the films Aladdin, Django Unchained, and the television show Devious Maids, one can become much more aware of the racial stereotypes that they are calling attention to.
However, the adverse impact has outweighed the positive results. For example, the stereotype belief that all black people are thieves or associated with all the social evils in the society has led to police brutality (Couillard, 2013). Police officers discriminate and falsely accuse black forks of a crime they might not have committed. It has led to African-Americans becoming bitter and resenting the police department officials. There are both state and federal laws that prohibit hate crimes, but proving an assailant committed a crime in prejudice is very difficult. Any type of crime can call for some form of punishment, from fines and short prison stays for misdemeanors to long term imprisonment for felonies. Once it has been reviled that an accused willfully committed an offense, proof must be given that indicates the crime was influenced by prejudice against a specific characteristic in order to show that it was also a hate crime. Racism in the United States made it very tough on multiple races. It was hard for people that weren’t white to live out there dreams or to make a living. Racism had an affect politically and in society. There were three races that dealt with racism. These races were African Americans, Native Americans, and Asian Americans.
