For instance, the recent protests in Ferguson, Missouri, where an 18 year old African American male was kill because the 18 year old was murder because of his race, this cause a violent protests to burst out. This protest had the total damage of nearly $4.6 million. When any crime involving racism or a hint of it cause so much controversy and alters the judgment of many people no matter if they are right or wrong. Hate crimes also involves some kind of violence based on discrimination against human’s religion, race, and belief. Many statistics from a police report show that a majority of all the crime in America is motivated by some kind of hate towards a person’s race. For example, my uncle came from Mexico two years ago, for my grandma’s funeral. Because of the seriousness of the event, he came as fast as he could with only the clothes he had on him. With no spare clothes, my dad let him borrow some of his old clothes. My uncle was a skinny, and tall person and my dad was overall bigger than him. On the day my uncle received the clothes from my dad, he immediately used the clothes he was given. The fit was baggy but he was thankful for the clothes. Later that day he came back to our house scared and with bruises all around his face. He was stop by African American gang members thinking he was from a Mexican gang. Not able to speak English he
