The mouth, esophagus, pharynx, stomach, small and large intestines and the anus, make up the GI tract. • The penis contains a number of sensitive nerve endings, lymphatic and blood vessels, also two suspensory ligaments made up of elastic fibers. • The body of the penis is cylindrical in shape and consist of three internal chambers the corpus spongiosum, • All three chambers are made up of sponge like erectile tissues called corpus cavernosa. They contain large spaces which fill with blood; the skin is loose and elastic. • The erectile tissues are in tinny pools of blood vessels called cavernous sinuses. • Each of these muscles are surrounded by smooth muscles and supported by elastic fibrous tissues, made up of protein called collagen.

The large intestine (colon) extends from the cecum to the anus and includes the ascending colon, the transverse colon, the descending colon, the sigmoid colon, and the rectum. (Healthwise Staff,2014). The large intestine is the last section of the gastrointestinal tract that performs and absorbing water and vitamins while converting digested food into feces. Even though it’s shorter than the small intestine in length, the large intestine is thicker then the small intestine. The last and finally part is the anus, the opening at the end of the alimentary canal through which solid waste matter leaves the body.
