Race has existed throughout centuries. Many of us have grown accustomed to this concept like the concepts of math or beauty. I, on the other hand, argue that race is not a legitimate concept as it is a man-made idea based on the understanding of the outside world. In addition, race cannot hold up as a definition in the future. In this paper, I want to explore the idea of how race is formed, how race is distinguished by human understanding, whether race can be understood innately, and argue on the temporal nature of the concept of race. Race, in my opinion, is a man-made idea that was formed by humans understanding of the outside world. The idea of beauty stems from both an objective and subjective place. People have an internal understanding of what beauty is and it has a subjective definition through what they sense and perceive. The idea of beauty, though different in meanings, has held over centuries as a concept that every human can understand at a basic level. Humans will continue to have an understanding of beauty with introspection. However, the concept of race as I have argued before, cannot be understood innately and therefore, it can’t hold up as a concept in the future. Furthermore, the man-made version of race can never stand the test of time. The term ‘White’ and ‘black’ can change in several years as humans are crossbreeding and giving birth to children that are ethnically ambiguous. Pretty soon humanity will look the same, as everyone will have 32 flavours of human in them. When that happens, the idea of race will never make sense as the whole idea of race is predicated on the classification of people based on their physical characteristics.
