Going to college and choosing a career may be challenging for some people who don’t know what direction they want to go in. This was me the beginning of my senior year in high school. I was in a predicament where I was not even sure if I wanted to go to college but I knew I had to do better and prove that I could do it. I have narrowed my choices down to a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a Nutrition Science. These were the two things that interest me the most. I have always loved science and I like to know how things work so I explored the two careers and this is what I found. You can also go to a college or university that offers the nutrition science program. After you complete the training you have to get certified and go through an internship. Upon completion you will then get your nutrition licences. Higher education also available depending on a certain field. A Clinical laboratory Scientist earns a minimum of $55,000 dollars for their annual salary. The annual salary amount also depends on your job title. The maximum amount that it has been noted for a CLS has earned is 105,000 in one year. The national wage of a CLS is 27.94/hour, one in this field would have a wage range from $23.78 to $36.10. One can also receive sign on bonuses depending on who you work for these bonuses range from $1,000 to $5,000. In the field of nutrition a person will earn a annual salary of $57,910 which is a little more than a Clinical laboratory Scientist earns. This equates to 27.84/hour. Depending on what state a person are you may get paid more. The highest paying state for this field is california which is a more populated state. Nutritionist salary also differ depending on what one's job title is and what they are obligated to do in the career field. Many people in different fields make more than just an average
