Current research demonstrates that the social issue of childhood vaccinations and immunizations. There has been a great amount of controversy over the morality, ethics, effectiveness, and safety of vaccinations and immunizations. It has been an argument of whether vaccinations and immunizations are safe and effective in childhood. This paper first briefly describes the pros of childhood vaccinations and immunization, than the cons of vaccinations. It then examines the reasons why parents are choosing to omit vaccinations and immunizations. Lastly, it briefly talks about how the community has a role in educating parents on how, and why their child should be immunized and vaccinated.
