Do Kuwaiti society accept interracial marriage?
Most marriages in Kuwait are arranged, in accordance with tradition (cousin marriage to the daughter of his aunt). However, this has been changing nowadays and it is easy to find a man who is married a foreigner women, where some people are against this marriage. Therefore, it considers to be offensive for Kuwaiti woman to marry an expatriate man because women, regardless of their age, need their father's permission to marry. In regards to the administration, if someone want to get married he or she has to get an approval for interior ministry in Kuwait as these procedures are amid at reducing this phenomenon. Traditional nuptials in kuwait is very popular and there are many rules and facts should be known in the beginning of this essay. To take several examples, in the past it was very rarely to find a foreign bride or groom and usually women got married earilier. What is more, the rate of spinsterhood were almost non existent and widows and divorvees got married again after while. Although mothers often look for a wife to their sons and they prefer a relative girl or a friend girl , sons have the right to see the girl before marrying her and they can say yes or no and girls as well can say their views. In additon, the marriage is still driven by man’s personal choice and with some help from the family.

[2] To analysis that many Kuwaiti people prefer to marry from Gulf Arabian countries, which are Oman, Qatar, UAE, KSA and Bahrain. The parents would say yes for marrying from GCC even though the government would not give a grant for that marriage.
