Rick, I am terribly sorry about your wife’s ordeal. There was no need for her to endure this. This is purely unethical for it shows continual, poor service for all travelers. Like other professions, there are always ‘bad apples’ working for TSA unfortunately. Still, those TSA agents needed to be reprimanded and reminded about being courteous to everyone at all times. There was no excuse for the TSA agents to treat someone badly. I totally understand your unfortunate situation.

I am a Grade 11 student from Cambie Secondary in Richmond, BC, this letter and the website form serve as my application for the Vimy Pilgrimage Award. After discovering the Pilgrimage Award through my teacher and at Cadets, I was instantaneously drawn. Achieving this award would allow me to further discover and embrace the multifarious history of Canada through my local community. I believe that my service, positive contributions, and leadership is a good fit for this award.
The next step Pride of Pickens Band needs to make is to gain its purpose again. The band has the talent and can understand what task they need to complete, but that does not mean it is going to complete the task with all its effort. If you ask any kid why he or she is in marching band, most of them could not give you an answer. There is really no reason anyone is in marching band; they are just doing it to do it with no real strive for it. The Pride of Pickens lacks pride in what it does.
Without excuse or complaint I have met and even surpassed these requirements. I earned a 3.25 GPA. I have paid my dues the entire year without late payment. I attended all ritual events and only missed one chapter meeting falling well within the attendance policy. I am an active member of the Pre-Law Club and the Political Science Club.

Aaron Gunkel is a responsible, intelligent, worthy candidate for the AFRL summer program. He is currently enrolled in AP classes at his high school, Career Enrichment Center, and dedicated to his studies. My previous experience with him was while a member of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Albuquerque Heights Composite “Spirit” Squadron where he honorably progressed from Basic Airman to Chief Master Sergeant before having to terminate his membership to dedicate time to his academic studies. He regularly attended CAP meetings and was very faithful in assisting younger cadets.

In March of 2016 I read about color guard auditions. I asked a few of my friends about what it was because it had mentioned dancing. And if you know me, you know that dance is an enormous part of my life. My friends explained to me that it was a group apart of the band. That they perform at football games and marching band contests. It peaked my interest due to the fact that it involved dancing.

Dress codes are essentials for all schools across America. Dress codes will set the tone for students to be safe because they will help reduce violence, increase student safety, and provide a positive learning environment.
Everyone often expresses who we are or what we believe by what we wear. Students maintain constitutional rights for freedom of expression when it comes to school. To some extent our decisions about our appearance are protected as well. Keeping in mind that dress code policies vary from school to school, and there will often be disagreement about what makes up inappropriate clothing. Fear of school disruption is NOT enough to overcome freedom of expression. And wearing gang colors does NOT interfere with our learning nor with the rights of other students. A general ban on gang colors is too vague and therefore unconstitutional. Almost all colors are associated with gangs. Overall, school administers have no right to ban students from wearing gang affiliated colors in public schools.
In any society, the simple need for protection and law enforcement is crucial. Not only do police officers’ carry its duty to serve and protect but also security officers, airport police and the transit police emulate the same the same qualities to ensure citizens that they are being protected. The different styles of authority uniform can contribute to the way one might respond to these figures. Persuasion toward authority can vary depending on location and how close do uniforms resemble police officers. Different influences can also view the characteristics-color, style and fit of uniforms and negative make assumptions because of recent events. Figures in uniform affect the process of persuasion in everyday society.
Pants below waist, baggy shirts with sexist signs, and piercings, this is not a good view early in the morning. That’s why the school should implement a uniform policy. Uniforms should be mandatory in school. Uniforms make the school appear more professional. Also with uniforms students won’t compare themselves with each other. Moreover uniforms can help students save time. Additionally parents won’t have to waste so much money on clothes hence will have a better budget.
