The CIA certification is suitable for those people who would like to do external auditor. Educational requirement o CIA candidates must hold a 3-4 years of bachelor degree or higher. The degree must be an accredited college or university. o However there are two options people who have experience in internal audit and relevant but do not get bachelor degree (The Institute of Internal Auditors, 2015). o Option1: A candidate who has gotten a minimum of 2 years (full time) of bachelor degree education from a recognized university and college and gained 5 years of provable employment as an internal auditor or relevant, which is included assessment disciplines, external auditing, quality assurance, compliance, and internal control. o Option 2 A candidate who has been a verifiable employment as an internal or relevant, which is included assessment disciplines, external auditing, quality assurance, compliance, and internal control and has gotten experience for seven years or more than seven years. 2.
