So the soultion to gradually decrease teenagers from becoming parents is communicating and educating because they might not no better but as adults we do.
The pill is effective in preventing pregnancy and just needs to be advertised more to inform more people. The ideal situation would be for teens to abstain from sex or to use birth control effectively. Yet, this is not happening. The ECP is the only way the USA can get the problem of teen pregnancy under control.
The point of the shows are too discourage young pregnancy not to make the young parents celebrities (Debate.org 3.) All of these may be true but, ever since the shows 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom have aired, the drop in teen pregnancy have dropped more than they ever have.
There are ways to solve the teenage pregnancy problem. People also need to realize that if nothing is being done, the problem will not go away. As several teens use the excuse that sex feels better without a condom pregnancy is likely to occur just because of that simple saying. Having a child comes with a lot of responsibility. Teens don’t think of the consequences of their actions. Children take up a lot of time, which also means, no more school. The teen should first understand that all their free time is lost, that she will have to find some way to live for herself and the child, and that any future plans are now not what she was planning.

Since the 1990’s the number of teen pregnancies has lowered but is still an avoidable situation that adolescents can prevent. This paper will explore recent statistics and consequences of teen childbearing and ways to prevent the situation. Statistics show that teen pregnancy has declined since past years but still continues to be a problem among adolescents. For example from 1990 to 2010 the teen birth rate has declined from 61.8 to 29.4 for every one thousand teen girls (Teen Pregnancy & Childbearing 1).
