Mrs.Gallos English 3 Research Paper In this paper i am going to talk about problems with the community and how to help the homeless. It is very important to know about the homeless so i am going to tell you some facts and statistics. You might not notice but a good percentage of people are homeless and some you may never know. I will be talking about how to cope and what to do if you come in a situation with one. “Due to being homeless they have no job so they can not pay for health care”(Joy Junction). It really gets them when it turns cold and they do not have the proper clothing and they get sick. Doctors need to have clinics for the people who can not afford seeing a doctor. People need to think as if they're the ones homeless and how they would want to be treated. Some homeless might have a type of depression because they have nothing and they feel like they mean nothing. Anything you give them and everything is better than just passing them on the road. “Homeless adults have higher rates of childhood abuse and other adverse experiences than adults who have never been homeless”(Urban Institute). To help them with family matters if they have any pets or children get them out of the homeless person’s hands and tell them they are doing better than they were with them. Let them be able to visit if needed. It is very import to care for the homeless and take care of their needs. They are just as humans as we are but not fortunate enough to have what others have.Helping them can go as far as saving their lives based on the things they go through on a daily
