Problems of Modernization in Developing Nations
The economic situation which exists in the developing world today, is the result of the relationship between the modern, and developing nations of the world. Modernized nations benefited from this relationship because it gave them access to natural resources. However, because of this relationship, many developing nations now suffer from severe problems. These nations are attempting to change the situation in which they struggle.
A political cartoon I have recently seen illustrated the economic relationship between the industrialized world and the developing world. It shows that the industrial nations, The United States and Europe, are located in the northern hemisphere. On the other hand most of the developing world, Central and South
America and Africa, are found in the southern hemisphere. The "well fed", well dressed individual holding the industrialized world indicates that the modernized nations of the world are prosperous, and have a high standard of living. The skinny, poorly dressed individual holding the developing world indicates that the developing nations of the world are not prosperous, and have a lower standard of living than do industrialized nations. Both individuals are supporting each other in such a way that if one is removed, the other will fall.
Without resources to use, industry would not be able to maintain its existence.

Understand the positions of both parties and see what better option can be achieved to improve the quality of life of these people. Effective communication is the tool that I use to improve and establish strong links. But the attitude that one takes when creating these bonds is also fundamental. ... two things is just what is needed. Trust will be something required to truly obtain this happy medium, and many people may argue and misinterpret. However, a true leader should know what is best for their people, even if the people may not be in full agreement.
.... This bond is one of guidance and supremacy depleted by the means of self perseveration.
Even though their philosophies may be very different, as I will attempt to outline today, they need each other to succeed.

The Problems of Defining Development Development is very difficult to define as it has a wide range of meanings and has therefore been used in a variety of ways, by different people or organizations at different times. For example, geographers will link development with improvements in human welfare. e.g. greater wealth, better education and health. Many geographers will measure development in terms of the countries HDI (Human). Development Index.
Many changes were made to society because of industrialization. Productivity increased because machines were created to produce certain goods. Industrialization helped bring about innovation in many countries, worldwide trade increased and innovation rose. However, conditions in the factories were awful and children were exploited. Prices were so low because of the abundance of goods that many artisans went into poverty. Industrialization had its negatives and positives like most things, but the innovation that came out of that period was necessary to move into the modern era.

Globalization is defined as the act of creating connections between countries across the globe in terms of culture and economy. Almost on every part of the world, citizens have become a part of the global village. Even though various researches stated that there are negative effects of globalization for particular reasons, the positive impacts were clearly shown to be stronger especially in developing countries such as Cambodia.
“…increasing international trade and financial flows since the Second World War have fostered sustained economic growth over the long term in the world’s high-income states. Some with idle incomes have prospered as well, but low-income economies generally have not made significant gains. The growing world economy has not produced balanced, healthy economic growth in the poorer states. Instead, the cycle of underdevelopment more aptly describes their plight. In the context of weak economies, the negative effects of international trade and foreign investments have been devastating. Issues of trade and currency values preoccupy the economic policies of states with low-income economies even more than those with high incomes because the downturns are far more debilitating.1”
It is natural to be misled by the idea that economic growth is the key

Underdevelopment can be understood in relation to development. Development is explained by the Oxford Dictionary as the process of developing or developed in a specified state of growth or advancement. Underdeveloped, as according to the Oxford Dictionary, is ‘not fully developed or not advanced economically’ which is meant for a country or a region. We can certainly see the difference between underdeveloped and developed, where the changing situation emerges from the economic point of view. To be more specific, worlds within the world were created i.e. the nomenclature of First World and Third World came into picture.
