Have you ever thought do we really have privacy or do we really know what is privacy to the world? Many people today have no clue what is privacy on social media is especially teens. There are many teens that just put everything out there like their location, personal information, or even their own family relatives information. Some of the most popular social media sites that teen like are Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat , Facebook. The teens that go on here show what they may be doing and these apps let them put their location on there. Some teens also may not have a clue who they have as a friend on these sites. With teens they really do not pay attention to what they put on their social media or who even sees it . Also it can be based on their gender and age on how they use social media. Now social media has taken over our lives especially teens lives. Social media today is like a trend , everyone wants to have a social media site or else they feel left out. A couple years ago teens had no clue what social media was or even how to use it. Until 2003 that is when it was at its highest peak introducing MySpace “ MySpace was once the perennial favorite. It did so by tempting the key young adult demographic with music, music videos, and a funky, feature-filled environment ( Digital Trends Staff ).” When this social media came out it attracted teens to see what can they do on there. Then this also allowed them to communicate with their friends when they aren 't together.
