Princess Diana is one of the most prominent historical figures in the world. She was a symbol of beauty and humanity. This is why her death in August 1997 was controversial, shocking and devastating. She was one of the most popular members in the history of the British Royal family and down to earth. Princess Diana said: ''I want my boys to have an understanding of people's emotions, their insecurities, people's distress, and their hopes and dreams''.
