Myers Briggs is a company who has created a personality test to show the different personality types. BSM Consulting, author of “High Level Description of the 16 Personality Types by the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) explains in laymen terms the 16 personality types in detail. According to the (MBTI), everyone is categorized into one of the 16 personality types. The personality type of Princess Diana is “The Idealist.” Princess Diana was well loved and respected all around the world. She wanted to help anyone who needed it from the time she was a young girl long before she became a princess. “Some of the great, humanistic catalysts in the world have been INFPs”. (BSM, Consulting, “The Idealist” par. 11). The personality type of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was “The Artist”. Jackie was well respected as a First Lady being married to John F. Kennedy. She was a great contributor to the White House while she was there. Princess Diana and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis have demonstrated that they live up to the personality types of the “Idealist” and the “Artist” from the Myers-Briggs category because they both have shown three main characteristics:being a visionary, being thoughtful and considerate, and being an aggressive defender of what they believed in.
The first and probably the most important characteristic is that they were both a visionary who wanted to make the world a better place to live. K.D. Reynolds author of “Diana” want the reader to understand the true person that Princess Diana was. Her statements are saying that Princess Diana empathized with everyone and everyone loved her.
