Poverty and Homeless Teens in the World

Homeless teens are a very serious matter that’s going on in this world, teens aren’t

Eating right or don’t have anywhere to live and are just completely alone.

I believe that homelessness is a problem that can be solved. With up to 300,000

people across United States without a safe place to call home and an annual price tag that

exceeds $2 billion, governments can no longer afford not to invest in a lasting solution to this

country's housing crisis. Poverty and homelessness are a worldwide problem mostly found in

teens. Family conflict is the most common cause of all youth homelessness. For gay and

transgender youth, the conflict tends to be over their sexual orientation or gender identity, and

the results aren’t pretty: Half of all teens get a negative reaction from their parents when they

come out to them. More than 1 in 4 are thrown out of their homes. These teens have no one to

protect them and don’t have a lot of food to eat and they’ll just end up dyeing at a Very young

age. There are many suicides in the United States from teens who don’t even last two Years in

poverty. Most teens that are in poverty end up starving or freezing to Death because they have

No shelter or any money. Now in days teens can’t just get a job because they ask for a diploma

Or a GED and teens can’t afford to pay for a GED with no job. Also, Most Teens in poverty just

end up giving up and dropping out of school because they believe that it’s just a waste of their

time. So there is no chance of them getting a diploma any time soon. The poverty rate for people

18 and under increases more and more as the years go by. People are assuming that the

generations to come wont appreciate what they have and will take advantage...

Teens should just go to school and do the right thing. I understand it’s not their fault if they end

up in poverty but they should try their hardest to get out it. They might be born into poverty

because their family is so poor but just be grateful for what your able to get and that the people

who do talk down on homeless teens should at least try to help them have a better life. Teens just

have to pull through it and hope for the best and pray things don’t get worst because I know the

people in this world don’t care and won’t bother to help. But at least try to give them a better

future. For these teens better future to them is a life out of poverty.

These teens just need a important person in their life that will actually help them face

Life. There are many homeless teens and if we all help and chip in to help them we can make the

number decrease.
