Have you ever been in a bad situation where the only thing you can think about is the negative things? It happen to many people because it is so much easier to point out the bad then be thankful for the good. Just like how people say its easier to see the flaws in someone rather than their strengths, its the same concept. And there are many different things you should see it in. Books, movies, people, school, and just life in general. But if you can just start to see the good in things then it becomes easier and easier to see. And one of the most legendary, tragic plays of them all still has some positive things in it. Even if like I said they are a little are to find! There are possibly more positive things you could get out of Romeo and Juliet but here are the three I got; they found true love, they found out who really cared about them, and that the two families stopped fighting.
To start, one of the most positive things that came out of Romeo and Juliet is that they were able to find true love in spite of their families and that it made them happier than ever. When Romeo first say Juliet he was overtaken by her beauty and he instantly fell in love with her, and she with him. And that night when they talked in the garden, declaring their love for each other, he did not want to leave. Then the next morning Juliet was waiting very eagerly for Romeos response to her proposal longing to know what he said. And she was overwhelmed with joy and excitement when the nurse told her the news. When they were married they were both “on cloud nine” because they were so happy and in love with each other. And that there will never be a story so strong, eye opening, and heartbreaking as Romeo and Juliet.
Obviously, there are other positive things you can get out of Romeo and Juliet but these are the three things I got out of it. First that they were able to find true love that made the unbelievably happy. Second, that they were able to see the people that would do anything for them because they love them. And lastly, that the two family were finally able to stop fighting. Clearly, they had many positive things even out this tragic play.

Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, is a story of two young lovers. These two hearts, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet belong to feuding families. The family feud causes them to keep their love a secret and therefore only Romeo, Juliet, Benvolio, the Nurse and Friar Lawrence know of their love. Romeo and Juliet are able to look past the feud and let themselves fall in mad love with the other. They let themselves do almost anything for the other and at times it seems like too much to do, even for the one they love. Although fate and character traits play a key role in the play, ultimately Rome and Juliet’s personal choices lead to their downfall.Fate originates all of the conflicts in Romeo and Juliet, from when they met until they die.
The marriage eventually let to the setting up Juliet's fake death.There was also Benvolio who took Romeo to the party to meet women even though he had just broken up with someone. Lastly, there is Mercutio who caused Romeo banishment by dying in a fight. If none of these problems had occured, then Romeo and Juliet could have had a happy marriage...eventually.
On the surface, Romeo & Juliet is a simple tragic love story: boy meets girl, they fall in love, time elapses, things go wrong, and an end is met. But if you ask why was the end met, well there's where you get into the details of the story and the individual aspects of the mostly nondescript characters, in particular Romeo himself. Look into his ridiculously romantic lines, and you'll notice either the flaw in his character, the mistake he made, or the way fate plays with its toys.
The play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is about a forbidden love between two hateful households which tragically ends in death. It begins with Romeo’s broken heart from a dainty lady and a lively masquerade where two lone souls come together. However, their love for one another was doomed at birth for both households had a constant hatred for one another. The story of Romeo and Juliet had many tragic, yet meaningful events that somewhat constructed what we know today as, “The tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet.” In fact, all of those ‘tragic yet meaningful events’ are all the deaths of Mercutio, Tybalt, Romeo, and Juliet. All of the tragic, meaningful events show what theme the story portrays. Romeo and Juliet itself is a well-known so called ‘love’ play/story, but when you really ‘dig deeper’ into it you will soon come to realize that it is more of a death play than a love play. The love between Romeo and Juliet can be described as an overpowering almost violent force wrought with overflowing passion that takes precedence over all other values, social loyalties or feelings. In a sense, this particular scene is a reverse balcony scene where Romeo must leave instead of Juliet. The lovers placate each other through reversals of thought, giving in to each other’s will.
