In times when a child or a teenager is involved in violence, the Government Officials, Newspapers and parents have all blamed the video games as the culprit. As a result, video games have become a scapegoat for antisocial and violent behavior. It seems like the media always points out their fingers to something that they don’t fully understand. Studies had proved that video games are actually beneficial to different kind of people in many ways. For example: video games have helped kids with autism to improve their social skills. For kids who are shy or introverted in nature, online games proved to be a great way of connecting with others. Also from studies and personal experience, during stressful times taking a break and playing video games provides relaxation and helps boost my confidence.
