Centuries ago living in a technologically advanced era full of gadgets and gizmos that could do everything under the sun was something unimaginable, but now it is here and changing all aspects of our lives. One major concept technology brought to the table is mass media, where information is easily accessible to everyone and has the capability to spread like wildfire. Race is the elephant in the room, no one wants to mention it but we all know its undeniably a major key point in this discussion. Social media has been used to its advantage to expose how common and widespread the police brutality cases against specifically African Americans have become. Having the ability to post something online for the whole world to see has put a spotlight on the corruption that is still alive and well in America. But does everyone want to see it? People are still in the mindset that if they choose to be blind to an evident issue the problem will resolve itself, but people like that are the problem.
