Pop culture impacts the way teenagers express and think of themselves, which effects their day to day social norms, beliefs, and the way they show their maturation. One of the many characteristics that are important in a teens life is the way they view themselves, which is called self-definition. That image is based off the certain choices that are influenced by everyday associations that teens experience.

Today's influences can cause the youth to change in different ways. One way is through the music they listen to. Like the famous saying reads, "Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are." Most parents will always be concerned or worried about who their son or daughter is hanging around with, and wonder whether if they are a positive or negative influence on their child. Teenagers will make friendships with peers who share the same interests, or hobbies, or that have the same kind of behavior as them. Parents and teachers can play an important role in using the relatively appropriate media to help advance their children or students into well rounded millenniums. In effect, we need to move forward with technology and its grandiose effect on learning. Let us start controlling it and using it to the advantage of getting young individuals to use it in ways that will take them to higher levels of learning exposure. One example of using technology to help teens grow in their learning experience, is a game called,"Kahoot." This is an online game that is mainly used in the classroom, which can be substituted as a study guide for a test coming up. Classmate's can get into groups of a number of their choice, or choice to work indepWhenever. It is time to play, the teacher simply says,"Student's, it is time to take out your phones and connect to Kahoot with the code you are given to on the board." This learning game is set up as a contest which rewards first, second, third, and fourth place. So, it makes the student want to win and excel much more, to win first place out of their entire
