Throughout history, the world has endured a plethora of different scenarios. Some of those include war, deforestation, weather, industrialization, and pollution. The majority of these acts deteriorate the Earth by harming the environment and human health. The most notorious method for destructing the Earth is pollution. Pollution is the corruption of air, dirt, or water by the release of detrimental substances. Pollution is a rising problem that scares the general public due to its consequences. Overtime, the build-up of pollution got out of hands. If the population does not identify these cause and effects soon, Earth and human life could take a turn for the worst.

The last main cause of water pollution is the failure to clean human and animal waste products. These sources can house millions of bacteria and deadly diseases once they reside in water, eventually spreading to marine life and other organisms (Water Pollution). Out of all the different types of pollution, water pollution is one of the leading causes of death (Water Pollution).

Pollution poses many threats to life on Earth and needs to become a main priority to the world. The effects of pollution may currently not be as noticeable, but within years, the problem could surpass our chance to fight this global issue. In ten years, the only home to polar bears and penguins may be at the zoo. The percentage of deaths a year could drastically raise as well if pollution measures are not put into effect. As inhabitants of this world, people need to realize the dreadful effects of the decisions they make, and make a shift in their lifestyle to make this world
