Political Socialization

Everything around me has influence who I am today and what my political views are. I’m really close to my family, therefor what I have lived with my family has a strong influence in my decision making about the government. Things such as political socialization, political ideology, political affiliation, the mixture inside American culture, demographic traits, and the special interests that I have influence the way that I see and feel about the government.

Because in America there are many cultures between the people in America, in their government they include a mix culture. Many compare America as a “melting pot”, because of “the mixing of culture, ideas and people that [have] changed American nation.” (Power Point) It’s predicted that according to the “majority- minority, non-Caucasian [will become the] majority by 2043.” (Power Point) Meaning that the minority has been growing, and at one point they will become the majority. “African-Americans have made tremendous political advances.
