Everything around me has influence who I am today and what my political views are. I’m really close to my family, therefor what I have lived with my family has a strong influence in my decision making about the government. Things such as political socialization, political ideology, political affiliation, the mixture inside American culture, demographic traits, and the special interests that I have influence the way that I see and feel about the government.

A person also shouldn’t always depend on the government for assistance in order to better themselves, they should take any opportunity that they come across. I scored the lowest on “fascist/ radical right” with a “11%”, “23%” for “conservative”, “36%” for “libertarian”, “38%” for “communist/ radical left”, and the highest in “social democrat” with a “70%”. Because in America there are many cultures between the people in America, in their government they include a mix culture. Many compare America as a “melting pot”, because of “the mixing of culture, ideas and people that [have] changed American nation.” (Power Point) It’s predicted that according to the “majority- minority, non-Caucasian [will become the] majority by 2043.” (Power Point) Meaning that the minority has been growing, and at one point they will become the majority. “African-Americans have made tremendous political advances. Since 1970, the number of African- Americans elected to office has increased by 500%.” (Power Point) For the African American people, the hugged increased in politics helps them when it comes down to their voice been hared, meaning a lot to the people because someone just like them can bring their opinions in to politics. “Hispanic Americans [, are the] fastest growing of the major group.” (Power Point) This will be because of the number of people who have immigrated into this country because of the “American Dream”, bringing their families and making American their home.
