Every people has a different sense of beauty, but in Korea, people tend to want to have outward adornment. This means, they want their face to be beautiful. In general, people think plastic surgery is not really bad things in Korea. They are evaluated by their appearance from the time when they are children or even when they were born. The first question was you think Korea is the world capital of plastic surgery or not. For this question, all of them answered yes immediately. They even mentioned that Korea has bad images because of plastic surgery. The second question is what people around you say about surgery, and you think it is common or not. What they said in common was Korean do not really think plastic surgery is bad. One of the interviewee said people around her say that they want to take plastic surgery because it is good opportunity to have confidence and get their ideal life, and even other interviewee said most of her friends have done plastic surgery for the celebration of the high school graduation, and she also said that they say coagulations to people who took surgery. Plastic surgery is already daily topic of today, so they said Korean tend to think plastic surgery is neither bad nor good, it is totally people’s own choice. The third question was for asking their own idea about plastic surgery, and all of them had negative images about surgery. One of the interviewee said that people who take surgery all want to make their eyes bigger, their face line to be like letter-V… If they don’t want to be the same, they should stop thinking about plastic surgery.
