Photography Is An Art Of Photography

Today the internet is filled with pictures, they’re all around us. But what most of the world doesn’t realize is that there is a difference between picture-taking and photography. To take a picture, all you have to do is point and shoot. Picture taking has no artistic value. Photography is an art, and like any other kind of art, it takes meticulous practice. Just as anyone can take a picture, though, anyone can learn the art of photography. Here are a few tips and tricks that, along with a little practice, will have you on your way to becoming a master of photography. The very first step to learning photography is to obtain a camera (obviously). This does not mean the Camera App on your phone. You use that for taking a picture. The quality of your photos depends in large part on the kind of camera you use. The better the camera, the better the zoom, depth of field, detail, and pixel count you will have. A quality camera can be expensive so if you’re just trying out photography, borrow a serious camera from someone and experiment to see if photography is something you are willing to make the investment in. Finally, once you have a good camera, learn how to use it. Find a YouTube video on all the settings and functions or, better yet, read the instruction manual. Knowing your camera will give you the ability to take the best photo you possibly can. The next, more poetic, aspect of taking a good photo is choosing your theme. There are many different types of photography: Nature, Wildlife, Black and White, Street, Portrait, Macro, Landscape, Abstract, Architecture, Travel, and Still Life, just to name a few. Photography is an art, and like any other art, it is fueled by inspiration. So, find what inspires you... ... middle of paper ... be, even if it wasn’t so at the moment you took it. To conclude, there are a lot of things that go into taking a photo. If photography is something you are interested in, you should get a camera, find a theme, take as many photos as you can with the composition in mind, and edit it to make it exactly what you want. However, the most important part of learning to become a photographer is practice. The more you practice, the more familiar you become with your personal styles, preferences, and strengths. Another thing you can do is look at other people’s photography for inspiration. Online, experienced photographers can demonstrate techniques and styles you might never have dreamed of otherwise. Photography is an art. Don’t take pictures, take photos, make them your own, then share them with the world. With a little practice, who knows what you can do?
